Lionadh Necklace

Lionadh (Scottish Gaelic: filling, flooding) — the tide coming in, the vessel made full.

A continuous strand necklace at approximately 34 inches, Lionadh centres on a substantial silver wire-wrapped turquoise focal — its blue-green surface veined and varied, each viewing revealing new depth. The focal is suspended from a strand of matte yellow calcite rounds, their warm cream tone a quiet foil to the stone’s cool intensity. Graduating accent beads of sodalite and African turquoise jasper flank the focal, bridging the calcite body to the pendant below.

Rooted in Gaelic mythology’s deep relationship with water as threshold, transformation, and sacred space — Lionadh is a piece for those drawn to the liminal, to the in-between states where one thing becomes another.
