Calyx Earrings

Hand-sawed and formed copper in a layered, petal-like calyx form, finished with liver of sulphur oxidising to deepen the surface to a rich, dark patina. Faceted red lampwork glass beads are captured in 20g argentium silver wire staples below the copper form, suspended from 18g argentium silver ear wire findings.

The red lampwork beads are irreplaceable — this is a one-of-a-kind piece.
